Bringing Disney Princesses to Life: Jane from Tarzan

Hello Beautiful!
Today I will show you something really exciting! :) A group of beauty gurus from Youtube including myself are doing a collaboration and we are showing you how to become a modern Disney princess!  Basically what we do is we imitate the work of Jirka Väätäinen, who combined photos of real women with cartoon characters using Photoshop and created digital paintings that brought Disney Princesses to real life!
I will show you how to become Jane from Tarzan. And here is the comparison of my look to Jirka's interpretation of modern Jane.

Here come the pictures of all other participants!

REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Sedona Lace Vortex Professional Makeup Brushes with Zipper Belt

Some time ago I was contacted by Sedona Lace LLC and offered to review any their product. I took a look at their website and decided to review their brushes. Vortex Collection caught my attention, because it was designed by Renelyn Monteloyola, who is also a beauty guru on Youtube (Makeup by Ren Ren). Therefore, I decided to review Vortex Professional Makeup Brushes with Zipper Belt. This was the priciest set available, so I wanted to check THAT out just because it contained the majority of brushes. And I know that you want to know my opinion on ALL brushes! :) OK, so let's begin with the review.

The brushes came in a well-packed package together with a leaflet, which described the purpose of each brush. Vortex collection consists of 14 brushes (brushes for face, eyes and lips). The brushes came separately from the zipper belt, however each brush was packed separately too. I also need to mention that each larger brush has a protection-case, which helps protect brushes and their bristles!

Obviously, once I received the brushes I tried placing those into the zipper belt! This is the layout I thought would suit me (below). As you can see, I placed larger / face brushes on the first row left side and blending brushes / eye brushes - on the right side. I thought that the rest of the brushes should be on the second row. I have to say that I love the fact that this belt has space for more brushes, so one can add other brushes if it is needed. Besides, there is also space for your business cards! I think this is genious, because if you are a professional makeup artist doing your job daily, you don't want to spend time searching for your business cards (as I usually do :) ), you just grab one without stopping  your job and give it to the new client!

I don't want to draw comparisons with other brands (I don't think it would be correct), but I have to say that for this quality of brushes, the price of the set with the zipper belt is really cheap! You can buy these brushes at www.SedonaLace.com. The price for this particular set is $79.95, which is ca $76 less if you bought each brush and the belt individually / separately! You basically pay for 4 larger brushes and the belt... and all other brushes are for free! :)

Here are my overall thoughts about pros and cons of Sedona Lace Vortex Professional Makeup Brushes with Zipper Belt:

-Affordable price
-Good quality
-Good assortment of brushes
-Multi-functional belt
-Fast delivery

-I would add a larger shader brush to this collection
-Slight shedding
-Currently out of stock

Unordinary shoes by Kobi Levi

Design and shoes have been Kobi Levi's passion since he was a little boy. He created his first shoe designs during his high school days in Tel Aviv, Israel. Back then his first shoes were made of cardboard! Following his passion, Kobi graduated he graduated from Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design, Jerusalem in 2001. Since then Kobi Levi worked as a freelance footwear designer.

As his hobby, Kobi also designed unique, creative and innovative shoe styles, which challenged the standard definitions of design, art and fashion to create a niche of their own. In April 2010 he uploaded his footwear art creations to his blog and since then people's reactions streamed in from all over the world. Moreover, this over-night exposure brought Lady Gaga to use the design Double Boot in her "Born this Way" music video!

Worldwide attention and publications led to a growing demand for Kobi's artistic styles. As a result, in July 2011 Kobi opened his studio in Tel Aviv and started to offer his original designs for sale.  All pairs are made by hand from high-quality materials. Here are some of the examples of Kobi's shoe collection. Which one do you like the best?

Makeup Tutorial: Jennifer Lopez - Follow the Leader Inspiration

It is no secret that I love Jennifer Lopez: her music, moves, sense of style and I even am not talking about her movie carreer! I think I have been following her musical / movie path, since I was a teenager and I still can't stop doing it! She is just gorgeous! Therefore, I decided to do an inspired look from her new music video "Follow the Leader". As I have done it many times before, I decided to come up with my own look for this video, as if I were Jen's makeup artist. As an inspiration I took this very picture and Jennifer's silver / black' ish outfit. I thought this outfit would look great with a smoky eye with respective colors! The pictures of my look are below. What do you think, would this look suit Jen and her outfit? :)

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer
Too Faced Smoky Eye Shadow Collection Palette (Silver, grey and nude)
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
Andrea Modlash False Eye Lashes in # 82 (black)

Benefit Blush in Sugarbomb
IsaDora Glow Stick - Blushes in Gold Vanilla
Hard Candy Lipstick in Fire Alarm
