Easy Barbie Pink Nail Design with Rhinestones for Short Rigid and Uneven nails

Well... the truth is that I have had my gel nails removed and ... oh, God... my own nails became so soft and fragile. Obviously, I will need to have some treatment done, but so far I can use some special products, such as the ones by Nails Inc (Harley Street Base Coat and Cuticle Oil Stick Pen with vitamin E). In this tutorial (see below) I will show you how to make your unhealthy nails look (not be) healthy and how to do an easy and nice Barbie pink manicure for short nails ;) Besides the products mentioned-above, I will also use a Barbie pink nail polish by Barrie M in 'Pink Flamingo' and clear nail polish 'Diamond Strength Instant Nail Hardener' by Sally Hansen.

My dream pink mini cocktail dress by Mathew Williamson

Have you ever seen something that took away your breath? I have! Some days ago I have seen a really great pink mini cocktail dress by Mathew Williamson and thought, "Mmmm... that is beautiful!" However, for some reason I have not tried it on. Today, when wondering around in Selfridges I thought that I definetely have to do this, because I have constantly been thinking about this dress (they call it 'Mathew Williamson Drape Colour Block Silk Gathered Cocktail mini dress'). ...I tried it on and it was amazing! Simply stunning! The only thing that made me conscious was the price. GBP 397.50??? And this is after a 50% discount?
If that were an every-day dress I might have bought it, but cocktail dress? Here in UK girls do wear these type of dresses quite often, but in my home country, where I am moving back in a week... welllllll, not THAT often... Anyways, I am restless and not knowing what to do!? :S

MUA makeup haul

These kind of miracles happen NOT very often. What am I talking about? DISCOUNTS on makeup!!! June is the time of sales here in UK and agressive sales are taking place in Boots and Superdrug stores! Some days ago I went to Superdrug and found a new brand (new for me), which is called Makeup Academy or MUA. The variety of products was not large, however, the quality seemed quite good. Eye dusts, eye shadows, lipsticks and lip glosses were very pigmented; were easy to apply; lip glosses had quite nice smell. I chose 20 different products and paid... GBP 20! Yes, 20! Each product was just GBP 1, which is around USD 1.30! Obviously, I was very excited and actually still am! I am definetely going to do some looks using these products, so stay tuned and check my YT channel! For now, however, I decided to show you the quality by making some pictures and swatches of products that I have bought. Please let me know if you have used this brand before, how much it costs in your country/city and whether you like it or not! Please find the pictures below ;)

Purple Burgundy Makeup Look

Some of you may already know my huge passion for purple colour; therefore purple makeup looks are a must for me! Today I am going to show you how to do the look that you can see on the pictures. It is as good for blue eyes, as for brown, hazel and grey eyes! As you can also see, I apply a little bit of light pink colour to the inner corners of my eyes - this means that the look will be great for normal, deep-set and other types of eyes. Below you will see the Youtube tutorial for the look and a list of products that I have used in order to create this look.

Products used:

* Eyeshadow Primer Potion by Urban Decay
* High Brow Jumbo pencil by Benefit
* 88 Pro-Eyeshadow Palette
* Jumbo Pencil Metallic Sparks in Purple by BeautyUK

Visiting Chester Zoo

We've been wanting to do it for a while. Planning and giving up on this idea, planning again and again giving up. The reasons have always been different: being too busy to go, bad weather, bad mood etc. However, yesterday we finally decided to go... no matter what! We booked train tickets and bought admission tickets for today (June 16, 2010), so that we have no way back! ...oh, will ask 'what are you talking about'?! Don't tell me I forgot to mention it! ...Chester Zoo that is :)

The weather today was amazing, it was sunny and warm. Although we woke up quite early and I felt really sleepy, I was still in a good mood and very excited! The train from Manchester to Chester took around an hour, no changes. Having arrived to Chester rail road station, we took a Rail Link bus to city centre (imagine, it was free!), and from there took a bus to the zoo. All in all, in 1,5 hours (and having spent ~$20) we were THERE!

Many of you know that I originally come from a very small country (Estonia) and there is no need to mention that our zoo is tiny. Not only the variety of animals is small, but also many of them are kept in small cages. My heart really hurts every time I go there...I feel too sad for all the animals, living there. Chester Zoo is somewhat different. No cages, or practically no. There is a constant illusion that animals are living in freedom. Nature and parks are amazing, ~50ha of land, therefore enough space for everyone: animals and us - visitors.

I think this zoo can also be called a botanical garden; it is extremely rich on plants! As to animals, then this is one of the richest collections I have ever seen! Here for the first time I have seen in reality giraffes, ostriches, red pandas, zebras, and of course my favourite flamingos. If you'd ask me whether I recommend this place or not, then I would definetely say ,"YES, I DO!"

I decided to take some pictures and share those with you, guys! Hope you will like them! ;)

YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara Review

Hello, my sweeties!

Today I am going to review my new mascara by YSL! To tell you the truth, I am very excited about it, since so far it seems to me like a great mascara! :)

To begin with, it exists in 8 shades:
1 - High density black
2 - Rich brown
3 - Extreme blue
4 - Fascinating violet
5 - Burgundy
6 - Deep night (dark blue)
7 - Khaki green
8 - Sublime grey

I personally bought myself a black one, since I rarely use any other colour. The mascara works miracles to your lashes! It gives volume and length and makes you look amazing (See the picture below)!

In order to get a similar look, I would suggest applying several layers. Therefore, apply the first layer, wait for several seconds and then apply the second. The mascara goes with a brochure on how to use it. The brochure suggests to use a tissue and wipe off some of the product. I would not recommend doing so, since it will make your mascara dry out faster!

What I also really like about it - is its packaging (very luxurious) and nice smell... yummy! :)

As to product prices, then these vary a lot. I personally have compared prices in tax free shop in Helsinki and department store in Tallinn. The first one had a price, which was $15 lower than in the department store in Tallinn. The prices were $30 and $45 respectively.

My rating to it would be: 5 out of 5

That is it for now! Please let me know if you have any questions! ;)

Pinkish outfit of the day

Today, when I woke up in the morning, I opened my eyes and smiled. The weather seemed perfect through the window. I got up and the first thing I did was... I opened the window to check how warm it was. Although the sun was shining and there were practically no clouds, the air was chilly! ", what should I wear today?" - I thought.

Usually when the weather is nice, yet cold in summer I prefer wearing clothes, which look summery, however, are quite warm. Therefore, my pink mini dress by Guess made of viscose and nylon would suit fine! As to the rest of the outfit, then I would need a matching bag and very comfortable shoes. As such, a bag by Versace made out of leather with silverish studs would compliment the outfit. Finally, since I would be going much around and doing some shopping I would need to make sure that my feet will always be in comfort. Therefore, I decided to complete my outfit with goldish/bronzy ballerinas by Louis Vuitton. Although all of my outfit has silvery accessories and the LV shoes are of a goldish colour, the LV sign itself is silverish, which means that the shoes would still be suitable for the outfit.

As my necklace I decided to wear the one by Bvlgari.

If you want to find out more, then definetely watch the video below ;)
