December was a month of... nail polishes!

December is the month of shopping. That is a fact! I don't know how about you, but I personally get crazy! During this month I find millions of reasons, why I have to buy this or that. Usually I think that it is about time to pamper myself and afford something that I would not usually afford myself. ...and not even because of lack of money, but because of irrationality!

Anyways, this month (as usual) I decided that I just have to buy some nail polishes. Obviously ca 100 bottles (I am not joking here!) is not enough! Obviously these bottles don't have a best before date... what was I talking about?! Oh yes, buying some nail polishes! :) So, being influenced by all those people, who do Christmas shopping, I (like crazy) was buying nail polishes.

Here are just some of nail varnishes that I have bought:
  • Barry M
  • OPI Mini Burlesque teaser set
  • OPI DeLites to Darks mini teasers

And now, let me talk about the after feeling, after I have purchased all that stuff. Do you know this feeling when you have bought loads of everything and then you start regreting spending such a large amount? Well, this is NOT about me! In the beginning, yes, I thought that maybe I was too excited and that is why purchased so many nail polish bottles, but then... when I tried the nail polishes on my nails, I understood that I did my shopping not in vain!

Let me a bit expand on virtues of Barry M and OPI nail polishes:
  • Both brands are great quality brands! Their nail polishes are very much alike by their qualities! ..hmm... I would not be surprised if Barry M and OPI products were mancufactured at the same factory... they REALLY have so much in common!
  • Both brands' nail polishes are thick, so that you don't need to apply multiple layers.
  • Both dry out on your nails within 2-3 minutes after application!
  • Both last you around 3 days... and around a week if you put a layer of clear nail polish on their top
  • Both don't chip off! Don't believe me? I swear! All they do is start slightly disappearing at the top of your nails... do you know that I mean?!

The only drawback I can think of right now is the price of OPI nail polishes. In the UK their price is around GBP 12, which is ca USD 20. In this case Barry M is more affordable, since the price of a nail polish bottle is ca GBP 3, which is ca USD 5.

So, to tell you the truth I am extremely happy right now that I have all these wonderful nail polishes. Since these are so amazing and don't take much time to dry out on your nails, I started changing nail color once in 3 days! How cool is that? :) All I can say is that being a nail polish junkie and shopaholic is sometimes not bad at all! ... and now tell me, what have you bought this December? :)

My Love - Mr Andy :P

Hey everyone!

Many of you have been asking me about my dog Andy! So, here comes a short blog post about him :) Since I have changed my video format and now doing videos with voiceovers, you just dont happen to hear him at the background! :) My dog is a French Bulldog, which means that this cutie snores all the time! And it is funny that every time I am recording a video, he comes to my room and falls asleep... which means even more snoring :D Therefore, in order to maintain a good video quality I decided to eliminate all other sounds from videos... however, this elimination also meant elimination of Andy and his snoring :S Since my dog loves attention, here is a little compenstation! If you want to see how my lovely sweet young man looks like, take a look at some of his pictures :P

Easy Barbie Pink Nail Design with Rhinestones for Short Rigid and Uneven nails

Well... the truth is that I have had my gel nails removed and ... oh, God... my own nails became so soft and fragile. Obviously, I will need to have some treatment done, but so far I can use some special products, such as the ones by Nails Inc (Harley Street Base Coat and Cuticle Oil Stick Pen with vitamin E). In this tutorial (see below) I will show you how to make your unhealthy nails look (not be) healthy and how to do an easy and nice Barbie pink manicure for short nails ;) Besides the products mentioned-above, I will also use a Barbie pink nail polish by Barrie M in 'Pink Flamingo' and clear nail polish 'Diamond Strength Instant Nail Hardener' by Sally Hansen.

My dream pink mini cocktail dress by Mathew Williamson

Have you ever seen something that took away your breath? I have! Some days ago I have seen a really great pink mini cocktail dress by Mathew Williamson and thought, "Mmmm... that is beautiful!" However, for some reason I have not tried it on. Today, when wondering around in Selfridges I thought that I definetely have to do this, because I have constantly been thinking about this dress (they call it 'Mathew Williamson Drape Colour Block Silk Gathered Cocktail mini dress'). ...I tried it on and it was amazing! Simply stunning! The only thing that made me conscious was the price. GBP 397.50??? And this is after a 50% discount?
If that were an every-day dress I might have bought it, but cocktail dress? Here in UK girls do wear these type of dresses quite often, but in my home country, where I am moving back in a week... welllllll, not THAT often... Anyways, I am restless and not knowing what to do!? :S

MUA makeup haul

These kind of miracles happen NOT very often. What am I talking about? DISCOUNTS on makeup!!! June is the time of sales here in UK and agressive sales are taking place in Boots and Superdrug stores! Some days ago I went to Superdrug and found a new brand (new for me), which is called Makeup Academy or MUA. The variety of products was not large, however, the quality seemed quite good. Eye dusts, eye shadows, lipsticks and lip glosses were very pigmented; were easy to apply; lip glosses had quite nice smell. I chose 20 different products and paid... GBP 20! Yes, 20! Each product was just GBP 1, which is around USD 1.30! Obviously, I was very excited and actually still am! I am definetely going to do some looks using these products, so stay tuned and check my YT channel! For now, however, I decided to show you the quality by making some pictures and swatches of products that I have bought. Please let me know if you have used this brand before, how much it costs in your country/city and whether you like it or not! Please find the pictures below ;)
